Font name: Gabriel's Angels

Even with the growing popularity of doodling, most scrappers still have that “fear” of holding a pen and (horrors!) drawing something so imperfect on their perfectly scrapped page! Some people focus on such imperfections (like Elsie Flannigan!) to give their work a personal, rugged, fun-feel. Others, like Lala would cringe with the thought of handwriting a few words. Can you imagine how much stress she will be under just drawing an image?

Enter, dingbat fonts. Dingbats are images you can “treat” as fonts. One image is equivalent to one letter. Type a letter and you get the equivalent image. Resize the image as you would any font.

Gabriel's Font is a dingbat that offers 25 different angels in various poses. Select the ones you like. Print any of them in your desired size, cut and mount!

One good way to “treat” your image would be to print in the lightest shade possible and “Versa Ink” it for powder embossing. The Zig embossing pens available from SMILE would be perfect for this. Can you imagine having that raised figure of an angel in silver, platinum or even gold? Instant embellies minus the spending! Click here to download the font.

Food for thought on angels, humor and God:

Have you ever wondered what it would have been like if God decided to install an answering machine in Heaven? Imagine praying and hearing this "Thank you for calling My Father's House. Please select one of the following four options:

  • Press 1 for requests.
  • Press 2 for a thanksgiving.
  • Press 3 for complaints.
  • For other inquiries, press 4.

What if God used the familiar excuse: "All the angels are helping other customers right now. Please stay on the line. Your call will be answered in the order it was received." Can you imagine getting these kinds of responses as you call on God in prayer ?"

  • If you'd like to speak with Gabriel, press 1.
  • For Michael, press 2.
  • For any other angel, press 3.
  • Our computers show that you have called once today already. Please hang up immediately.
  • This office is closed for the weekend. Please call again Monday.

We can truly be thankful to God that we can never call Him too often. He will never get annoyed. In fact, He longs for such calls to Him. You only need to ring once, and God hears you! You'll never get a busy signal! God takes each call and knows each caller personally.
