Santa’s Joy Ride!
The Whimsy Christmas Collection has given me ten times as much fun as it looks! I hope you got as much joy as I have designing the line. It was truly a journey to tap into my “whimsy” side and forget the business of “living” for a while and just marvel at how wonderful and blessed my life truly is. I hope you can complete the entire line, sets and exclusives. It’s really something that gave me much joy to do.
Santa’s Joy Ride, the third set of the Whimsy Christmas Collection offers 8 highly-detailed sheets in 3 beautiful designs: prancing reindeers, a beautiful snowfall (this design is MY favorite!) and giant snowflakes with beautiful leaves and vines! The set includes two beautiful, metallic, gem-studded snowflakes strung in detailed ribbons of bright red and pine green. I made them myself. I have included those same sets of highly-detailed ribbons minus the snowflakes so you can use them to adorn other page elements you might decide to use. It is the two Christmas stuff toys however by Jean Scheijen that gave the entire set it’s “whimsy” spirit. I made sure that element in the entire kit would work perfectly with those two lovable elements. The huggable moose and bear in winter clothes are both simply too hard to resist! If you can, visit Jean and thank him for his generosity in letting me use his images. I love his work!
Think of this set as my Christmas gift to you — all 117mb of it — in three parts. (Link expired).
Creating freebies as beautifully as I can, as detailed and as painstakingly as I can is the best way to thank you back. As I have said before — I will never make a set for the sake of creating one. I will never rush a kit because its my “scheduled” blog update. I will never design a line without my heart and my memories. This is the best way I know to show you how much I appreciate your emails, your short messages… and above all your friendship. Thank you.
If you haven’t gone through the shared stories of how some wonderful ladies earned their “butterfly wings” I suggest you go read all 80+ of them now. It is a good way to end the year — being thankful for even the toughest moments of our lives… I’ve read every single post and marveled at the strength of spirit shown by every person who shared (although I believe they weren’t even aware they were all exhibiting “strength” then — just a strong urge to survive life’s painful blows).
And to thank you all for sharing, here’s an exclusive 80MB kit named The Warmth of Home – an “understated” Christmas Kit in warm earth tones. It includes two sheet designs – three variants per design to total six sheets. The kit includes a wavy ribbon with a matching knot and two special ribbon sets each adorned with a cute ribbon flower and a pearl button! The entire set is made even more special by Tracey Brown’s cute snowmen. Drop her a line if you can to thank her for her generosity. She’s such a giving person!
The Warmth of Home is exclusively for those who posted their stories. I will be emailing the download password in a couple of hours. Please do not email me asking for a password if you didn’t share your story. The kit was specially created for those who did. It is freely given to those who freely shared. This exclusive set comes in three parts.
If you can guess what “symbol” of Christmas would be the main element in the fourth kit of the Whimsy Christmas Line, you will get yourself an exclusive download in the next blog post. I believe by now you know I take my time doing exclusives too (as seriously as I take my freebies and kits!) One guess per person ok?
Guess away!
By the way, Ignacio Molina would also like to gift you with a glitter pack – his way of saying thanks. Visit his site and download the glitter pack. Click here.

If you can spare 5 minutes, I assure you that the following story is worth the time.
Bryan (author unknown)
He was driving home one evening, on a two-lane country road. Work in this small Midwestern community was almost as slow as his beat-up Pontiac. But he never quit looking. Ever since the factory closed, he’d been unemployed, and with winter raging on, the chill had finally hit home. It was a lonely road. Not very many people had a reason to be on it, unless they were leaving. Most of his friends had already left. They had families to feed and dreams to fulfill. But he stayed on. After all, this was where he buried his mother and father. He was born here and knew the country. He could go down this road blind, and tell you what was on either side and with his headlights not working, that came in handy. It was starting to get dark and light snow flurries were coming down. He’d better get a move on.
You know, he almost didn’t see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road. But even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her. Even with the smile on his face, she was worried.
No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn’t look safe, he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you. He said, “I’m here to help you ma am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan.” Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt. As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him.
She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid. Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. She asked him how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She had already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about the money. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way. He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance that they needed, and Bryan added “…and think of me.”
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps.
The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The cash register was like the telephone of an out of work actor — it didn’t ring much. Her waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn’t erase. The lady noticed that the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan. After the lady finished her meal, and the waitress went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, the lady slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back.
She wondered where the lady could be, then she noticed something written on a napkin. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote.
It said: “You don’t owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.”
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard.
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, “Everything’s gonna be all right. I love you, Bryan.”
“If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do:
Do not let this chain of love end with you.”
Thankful for my freebies? Hug someone you haven’t hugged in a long while.
That is all the “payment” I ask.
May you all be blessed as richly as you have shared.
Happy New Year to all!
-Mabelle-

Mabelle, THanks for sharing with us. You have raised the bar in designing digital kits. Quality imagesa and lovely coordinates.
Hmmm…Part Four….could it be the Christmas Star?
December 31st, 2007 at 3:28 pm
Maybelle, these are awesome gifts from you and Tracy, TY both so much for sharing.
TY for sharing this story as well, I have heard it before and everytime I hear it…or read it, It makes me thankful for my family and friends and for my Lord above. God Bless each and everyone of you, for you’ve all help to make this a wonderful site. I love visiting here and reading your special stories and comments. TY all for sharing.
As for my guess at the 4th share’s “symble” for Christmas…hummm…that’s a toughie…I would say something to do with the manger scene. Maybe one of the stable animals? For me, that’s what I think of when I see the manger scene…it says “Christ”mas to me. Good luck to all of you that guess! And TY Maybelle for these wonderful challenges-shares.
I wish you all a Blessed and Safe New Year.

Thank you so much for these beautiful kits, they are just awesome. I can’t imagine all the time you spend creating, uploading and then blogging, It is just so very generous of you. Which leads me to my guess. Which I think will be gifts. My daughter when she was much younger asked me to tell her the truth. Was there a Santa Claus. My reply to her was that santa claus was the spirit of giving. Which is the symbol of Christmas as God gave his only son to us.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:13 pm
Mabelle, thank you for all the gifts you have given us. And thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I too have helped someone and when they offered to pay, I have told them no…just pass it on tenfold. Help out ten other people in the way I just have and tell them to pass it on tenfold. I hope it has helped out thousands of other people who otherwise may not have received help when they needed it.
As to the next symbol, I think it is going to be the Christmas Angel.
December 31st, 2007 at 6:27 pm
Well, I agree with Barbwire, I vote for the Christmas Angel too! Thank you for the links to the Warmth of Home kit, it is really lovely! Wishing you all the best for 2008!
December 31st, 2007 at 6:33 pm
Thank you for the beautiful kits, the work is extraordinary. You are a wonderful person for sharing these gifts to all of us.
My guess on the next symbol of the Whimsy Christmas Line is: The Sharing of Love of Family & Friends.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year!
December 31st, 2007 at 6:43 pm
Thanks so much Mabelle! Both kits are so fabulous. Since I love angels & collect them because they remind me of my mother, I think that will be the next featured element. Thanks again & have a wonderful & safe New Year!
December 31st, 2007 at 7:13 pm
I just fpund your site and think That you are a very talented lady! Thank you so much for sharing !
December 31st, 2007 at 7:15 pm
Thank you Mabelle, your story is a great way to go into a new year, with the thought of giving on our minds. You have already far exceeded on that front, I wish you and your family a safe and festive New Year. I’m going for the angel too – with fantastic wings!
December 31st, 2007 at 8:23 pm
My guess is the Nativity since that is really what Christmas is all about. And you did use 3 wise-snow-men in one kit. If it wasn’t for that I might have said something else – maybe Santa – but I’m sticking with the Nativity for my guess.
Thank you once again for the beautiful kits you make. Every time I see a new creation, I think WOW, you have really outdone yourself this time.
Happy New Year to all! Be happy and safe!

Thank you Mabelle for all the beautiful kits that you give us, and for stiring our memories. I love the story, I have also read it before and really believe in paying it on. My guess for the next installment is an Angel, but a manger would be nice to. Happy New Year to you and all your family!
December 31st, 2007 at 8:28 pm
OOPS! Sorry, I meant to say three snow kings instead of wise – snow-men.
Happy New Year!

Thank you so very much for your latest free Whimsy Christmas Gift. It’s beautifully detailed as usual.
December 31st, 2007 at 8:50 pm
What a wonderful way to wake up, news from you!! Your blog was the first to read this morning and now I’m fully awake, especially after your story. I will start my day by giving back and not only receiving.
For what will be your main element: I go for the angel. Because there are so many angels in the world who share their kindness and love with others.
I think you belong in that category too, not only giving gifts, but also memories to share….
Happy New Year!!!
December 31st, 2007 at 9:10 pm
Thank you for your latest creation! My thought on the next “symbol” is that it would be something religious-I agree with the other’s guesses-Christmas Angel(s) might be next.
Have a wonderful start of 2008
December 31st, 2007 at 9:51 pm
Thank you for the so very cool kits. I love them and I’m going to have to find some time today to scrap.
My guess: a nativity scene.
December 31st, 2007 at 9:55 pm
Your material is sooo beautiful, bright and detailed. I think the most prominent thing for Christmas is the Star……..it relates to the story of Christmas!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful kits.
December 31st, 2007 at 10:25 pm
Hi Mabelle!!!
TY so very much for both GORGEOUS PARTS TODAY!!!!!
My guess would be Baby Jesus because as with his birth & the New Year its a New Beginning for us all & to remember to help out this less forunate then ourselves!!!
I’m going to put this here because I think its something for all to think of.
When my husband died he helped others out as he did in life he did in death with the GIFT OF LIFE & helped others to live on & now both my son’s & I are organ donor’s if something were to happen to us.
HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!
December 31st, 2007 at 10:33 pm
Thank you so much for the story, it was lovely. And the new kit is adorable as is the treasure for the last posts for butterfly wings!
I am hoping the next symbol of Christmas will be – my favorite – an angel.
December 31st, 2007 at 10:51 pm
That’s a tough question, LOL. You’ve covered the Christmas tree, Santa and snowmen. So I would have to hazard a guess at an angel for the 4th symbol.
I love the story of “Bryan” and have read it for many a year. It still brings tears and goosebumps everytime I do. And it makes me stop to think how just answering a child’s questions, giving directions to someone who is lost or giving up my place in the grocery store line may impact the person. Oh, these are little things, but little things make a big difference in the long run, don’t they?
Have a very Happy New Year Mabelle and I’ll be looking to see/read your blog throughout the coming year.
December 31st, 2007 at 11:09 pm
I am loving your work! You are so talented and creative!
I think your next set must have to do with the religious part of the holidays. So, angels with maybe a nativity would be my guess. Anything you do will be precious!

December 31st, 2007 at 11:15 pm
Well, you’ve outdone yourself- this kit is wonderful!
Thanks so much and the story of paying it forward needed a tissue alert! I’ve read it before but it always brings tears to my eyes.
I’m going to guess that a Reindeer will star in your next kit! Rudolph’s red nose?
Thanks for bringing some fun to my morning! Have a great New Year!
December 31st, 2007 at 11:21 pm
Awww… that’s a wonderful story… And I’m gonna hug someone I haven’t hugged in a while today.
My guess for the Christmas Element would be a Christmas Tree (although my first though was the north star)!
Thanks so much for the wonderful goodies that you give, they are so awesome!!!!

I would have to guess the star or trees.
Thank you so much for the BEAUTIFUL KITS!!!!!! YOU ARE WONDERFUL.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
December 31st, 2007 at 11:27 pm
Hi Mabelle,
Your posts are inspiring and these Whimseys are so delightful and fun to use. Thank you so much for the fun and your generosity.
Here’s my logic and guess at the next symbol.
Since it’s part of the Whimsey series I don’t see it being the Nativity. (Sorry to the girls who guessed that one.) A star, as some guessed, is not the standard Mabelle Whimsey element. Main Whimsey elements have been a hugable character. Had a Santa Bear, had a reindeer, had 2 sets of snowmen. So with those thoughts in mind…I guess an Angel. Oooh, I’m so anxious for it to be revealed. I will cry if I do not get the exclusive download. Oh I’m so competitive.
December 31st, 2007 at 11:34 pm
I can still see it – almost 30 years ago. My daughter had crawled up on my hubby’s lap for a hug and my DH said “thank you sweetie. Did you know that you need about 10 of these a day to be happy and healthy?” We started right then referring to hugs as the only way to fill our “Love Cups”…. and whenever someone had a grumpy face or seemed in a bad mood one of us would shout “group hug”. and the four of us would make this human ball of arms and laughing. Now that both kids are grown and gone. . It almost brings tears just to remember this very happy part of our family lives together. But I have found it to be oh so true – that some days I am just way too low on my “hug-o-meter”. Thank you for helping us all think this through – and sending us out to give a few!! A lot of people need it these days.
Well, MaBelle, I have given some thought to your next element – and I would have to agree with Demetria – a Christmas tree. I have seen the ornaments and even that gorgeous star . . . and if I am wrong – then you will just have to give me a big hug to get over my disappointment!!
{{Hugs}} to you, my friend!!
December 31st, 2007 at 11:45 pm
Thank you, Maybelle for the delightful third part to the kit. It’s awesome. As for the next element for the next kit I think it will be Santa’s Gifts.
December 31st, 2007 at 11:48 pm
Thanks so much! Happy New Year!
December 31st, 2007 at 11:50 pm
Maybelle, thank you for your beautiful hugs today, and I will be “hugging” others too. Your work is so beautiful, and the time you take to create them is just amazing to me. Even more amazing is the responses you get from all of your blog readers. I read the responses to wings, and I was blown away by them, and the very personal responses. With that in mind, I’m going to guess that the next symbol will be wings… probably angel wings. Whatever it is, it will be beautiful!
January 1st, 2008 at 12:26 am
Thank you so very much for sharing more of this AWESOME series. You put sooo much detail that it’s obvious you take a lot of time and care. Thank you! Your creations are absolutley gorgeous!
I had to come back today to read the “wings” stories. When I wrote mine, there were only a dozen or so written. Talk about tears!!! And inspiration… my goodness! Everyone wrote such wonderful stories that I couldn’t help crying.
Okay, my guess…. I am torn between two topics. One is Angels, the other is Christ or the manger scene. Since this is a “Whimsy” kit, I’ll go for ANGELS. Crossing my fingers… I want it ALL, hahaha. Thank you again for all you do for us. You really do make the most fabulous creations! Huge hugz and Happy New Year! KrisG

Thank you for Santa’s Joy Ride and the funny snowmen in the “bonus” set.
Thank you for being the wonderful warm person who cares so much for us all.
Thank you for telling us those stories about sharing and giving. To give and share without expecting anything back is a beautiful gift all people should be able to embrace. This world would be a much better place to live at if we cared more about each other than just thinking of ourselves.
Thank you for “forcing” us to share something about ourselves here at your site.
As I consider you as an “angel” among digiscrappers I think your last symbol would be an ANGEL.
Warm hugs and a Happy New Year

I’ve read that before and totally love it. Thank you for the beautiful creations! Happy New Year
January 1st, 2008 at 12:57 am
Thank you so much for your fabulous creations. They are stunning and you can tell they come from the heart. I love the story and will keep it in my mind when I see someone in need. As for hugs, that is one thing I am good at. I am a huggie person. A big hug to you!!! Hope your Christmas was as wonderful as you and your New Year is all you desire.
I am not good at guesses but I will give it a whirl:
There has been Santa, snowmen, christmas tree, etc. so I will go with Angel too.
Hugs, Sharon

Mabelle, Thank you so much for this awesome series of kits…everything you create is just beautiful especially knowing how much time, effort and love you put into sharing them with us! Bryan’s story is beautiful, if more of us would be that thoughtful, think of what could be accomplished just by being kind to someone!! Thank you so much for the bonus, it is so cute!! My guess on the next installment of Whimsy Christmas is either something from the manger scene or poissibly a sweet angel. Whatever it’s going to be, I know it will be very special.
Wishing you a Happy New Year and all the blessings you heart can hold in 2008!!

Thanks for your stories. I enjoy them so much, it’s hard to say if I tune in each day more for the beautiful gifts you bestow upon us or your incredible writing ability. I love the gift of words as much as the goodies. They exonerate, encourage, and give hope to so many who need it. Thanks for all you do. I wish I had the privilige of being your next door neighbor! What fun we could have exchanging stories. I feel a kindred spirit with yours as sisters in the Lord. Blessings to you.
P.S. I think the next symbol that you will choose will be the star. So symbolic in so many ways. Debbie

Wow to wake up on New Years Day, receive your email, open it up and see this most wonderful kit…..words fail me. I say a HUGE thankyou, but it doesn’t seem enough. My guess for the next part would be the nativity.
I wish you and yours a wonderful New Year and may it be filled with all the happiness, health and love you deserve.

Happy New Year hun. Thank you for the wonderful story. This story I have heard many times as it is sung by Clay Walker and is called “Chain of Love”. It is such a beautiful song, well worth a listen if you can find it. Clay is a modern country singer. The song reduced me to tears the first time I heard it..
Thank you so much for generosity in giving so much of yourself and your talents throughout the past year. You put so much of yourself into your kits and involving people in “real life” asking us to find something special about ourselves each time. I think you would be amazed at how much healing you are doing by getting us to look inside our “adult” exteriors to find the inner person. Bless you for all your stories, encouragment and well just bless you for being you. May all your gifts come back tenfold to you.
My guess would be an angel coz thats what you are!
January 1st, 2008 at 4:41 am
Happy New Year! I just want to take a moment to thank you for all your talent and dedication to give us these wonderful collections! I am so glad I came across your site – I love reading your words of encouragement…this is so much more that “just a blog”. The Warmth of Home exclusive is fabulous!
My guess for the next part is a Nativity set. Once again, thank you so much and have a great 2008!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful freebies.
Happy New Year.
January 1st, 2008 at 5:26 am
Thank you so much Mabelle! I wish you the happiest of New Years and blessings to you and yours. I think the next part of the Whimsy collection may include Santa Claus himself!
January 1st, 2008 at 5:58 am
Thank you so much for the lovely gifts. Santa’s joyride is truly an appropriate name for the kit. My nephew, who is 7 told me before Christmas that one of his classmates doesn’t believe in Santa. I passed on to him the wisdom that my dad passed on to me. When you quit believing in Santa, he quits coming to see you. I am 51 and I still believe and my dad is 70 and he believes too! How could anyone look at your beautiful whimsical creations and not want to believe?
My guess has not been mentioned. My first thought was like others…that it would be an angel, however when I really thought about it the whimsey line didn’t really fit with the angel. So my guess for the next kit is a gingerbread boy and girl. Boy do I hope that I didn’t outguess myself.
Hope you have a wonderful, comfortable, stress-free, relaxing, loving and happy new year and that all your dreams, wants and needs come to fruition at last.
Big Hugs,
Anne

Mabelle,
Thanks once again for such wonderful creations. I have to tell you, even more than the freebies, I appreciate the way you make us nudge our memories, whether they are good or bad. I read a lot of blogs, and you are the only one that I have seen that does this. I really feel at home here on your little space, enough to share all types of moments in my life. That said, I feel that I know you well enough to say “Slow down and take it easy, girlfriend!”. Amazing things can happen when you lose some stress. My prayers are with you and your family in the new year to come.
January 1st, 2008 at 6:18 am
Oops… forget to submit my guess! Even before reading other comments, I was sure it had to be the Christmas Angel. From the looks of things, if it’s not, it should be! LOL! Take care.
January 1st, 2008 at 6:28 am
Thanks a lot for that Christmasgift from you
January 1st, 2008 at 6:35 am
Thankyou so much (again) for such wonderful kits!!! I love all of them. As far as the guess? Tough, but I am going to guess a Santa Claus?
January 1st, 2008 at 7:31 am
Thankyou so much for sharing these beautiful freebies. What wonderful story the Bryan one was, I really like it.
As to the next symbol I think it will be the christmas star.
January 1st, 2008 at 7:33 am
I’m guessing something about family.
I always read your whole blog and where do you find all these stories. Awesome…When I first went to school to learn to fix computers I wanted to be able to get a better job. I finished my course in July by January I was told I could not work anymore so I started to fix computers for family and friends who couldn’t afford the shop prices. I needed to feel useful and they all understood that it might take me awhile if I went flat down. So I hope that counts as giving something back as I rather give than to receive.
Happy New Year and enjoy your visit.
January 1st, 2008 at 8:30 am
Thank you so much, Mabelle, for the wonderful kit and the awesome story. This is the first time I’ve read it and it’s a good thing I had my tissue box close by. My guess for the next element — hmmm — a plump little angel with a smile on her face. Best wishes to you for a wonderful, successful 2008.

My guess is that the star will be the symbol of Christmas used for your next kit.
January 1st, 2008 at 12:12 pm
I would think the Christmas star, offering a hope and a way for the new year.
Thanks so much for all of you generosity and caring. Your kits are wonderful! Sharing thoughts, memories and feelings is a very small price to pay for such a wonderful gift!
Looking forward to sharing the new year with you

Thanks Mabelle. I truly appreciate your loving and giving nature. I had already read the story before but it still gives me goosebumps to read it again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Hugs!!!

Thanks so much for the lovely gift.
Happy New Year !

This kit is adorable. thanks so much, although Part One will not download. I’ve tried several times. The story about the waitress is a country western song. I have always liked it. Happy New Year. If you could send me Part one, that would be nice. Thanks.

Mabelle, i’m loving the whimsy, but for some reason, i can’t download part 1. I restarted my browser several times, even switched browsers to no avail. I’m in the middle of a lot of work right now so can’t restart the computer, but will do that and get back to you–don’t do anything yet.
I love the Bryan story. Speaks a lot to everyone offering RAKs and paying it forward. What goes around always comes around. How’s that for three very true cliches in one paragraph, eh?
My guess for next is Rudolph (have to go back and read see if anyone said this already, lol), already got snowmen, bears, moose, santa, who’s gonna pull the sleigh? Oooo, Rudolph and elves!
Hey, did you all know that all those reindeer are female? Males shed their antlers this time of year so wouldn’t have any! U GOOOO Gurls!
Happy new year everyone!

Mabelle thank you so much for these lovely gifts. I can’t get part 1 of Santa’s Joy Ride to download but I’ll try it again later. I have unzipped parts 2 and 3 and the 3 parts of Warmth of Home…you truly are an amazing designer! Your love and your spirit shine right through your art; thank you so much for sharing your talent, time and hard work with us!
.
Wishing you and yours All the Best in 2008; may it be your best year yet!
Hmmm, now for your question, that is a hard one but I will guess that it’s an angel. Oh I so hope it’s an angel as I would hate to miss out on any of your work. I think everyone that has made a guess feels like that,
(((hugs)))

Such a wonderful story, thank you for sharing it. I love your site which I have just found and am downloading your 3 part kit. The extractions in them are absolutely amazing. Thank you for the the time and patience you have given which shows in the quality of your work. I agree with some of the other ladies that I think an angel will be next. With best wishes for the New Year.
January 2nd, 2008 at 4:52 am
Mabelle, I too am having difficulty downloading Part 1. Part 2 & 3 downloaded beautifully. Thank you again for your wonderful work.
January 2nd, 2008 at 5:13 am
Thank you so much for all your hard work – I am a novice at scrapbooking but find it very relaxing playing about on the computer – My husband has Motor Neuron Disease and needs a lot of care and the computer is my ‘Time out’.
I am sitting looking at my Christmas tree which we choose together every year it is our focal point round which all the family gathers after lunch – so I would like to make that my guess!
Have a very Happy New Year and remember to take ‘Time out’ for you!!

OH how cute!
I love them. I am doing a christmas page of my grand children and they will LOVE it.
May you have a wonderful New Year.
Blessings and Thank YOU!
(the first part will not download for me either)

I’ll go for the Angels with wings too.
Thank you for the ever so personal freebies. Happy New Year.
January 2nd, 2008 at 9:43 am
Ladies, I have tried to download Part 1 and was able to successfully download it TWICE after waiting forever for Mediafire to present me with the save-as window. Forever means 3-5 minutes. Mediafire is “acting up” again. I suggest you be patient and try the link again or wait for my next blogpost. I will reupload it and post the new link.
January 2nd, 2008 at 5:56 pm
Thanks so much again, for beautiful work and generosity
I want to let you know that I am trying to download your Sant’s Joy Ride Kit (haven’t checked my email yet for the password for The Warmth of Home
BUT… I’ve updated my Norton to 2008 version, and I think it’s not letting me download from MediaFire for some reason??? I’m not tech savvy, so I don’t know why, I even tried turning off my Firewall and it didn’t change the problem. I hope I can resolve the issue and download both kits…
January 2nd, 2008 at 6:53 pm
Mabelle just for your info; I always wait for mediafire to get to the save as window however it always times out and I get the message “internet explorer cannot display the webpage”. I don’t think you should worry about this while you are on holidays and even at that I think you should relax when you get home! I know I always feel like I need a holiday after a holiday,
. We can wait for this! You are more important to us and we want you to keep well and enjoy yourself!
(((hugs)))

Hi Mabelle just leaving a little LOVIN on my daily visit!!!!!
LOVE YOUR NEW HEADER!!!!!!
When you have the spare time check out my wonderful news I got yesterday!!!!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
January 2nd, 2008 at 10:47 pm
Happy New Year, Mabelle!! I hope that your trip was a pleasant one. Our family visited my husband’s parents in snowy Manitoba, Canada. Quite a change (both in weather and culture) from the busy Atlanta, Georgia area, but we had a blast, and my 2 boys REALLY enjoyed the snow.
I’m glad that your beautiful downloads didn’t expire before I had an opportunity to add them to my growing MDS collection. You are, by FAR, one of the most detailed and dedicated designer, IMHO. I cherish each paper, element, and doo-dad that I’ve downloaded. I hope that your 2008 is filled with blessings a-plenty.
As for my guess for Part 4, I have to go with many others and guess the Christmas Star. And I’ll be patient with Mediafire – you’re worth waiting for!!
Peace and Blessings,
~Aly

Hey gurl! won’t clog up your email! Got part one using the other link just beautifully. Did try to get the first one on my superduper more memory than god jump higher than whomever network speed, and got the “server took too long to respond message” AFTER waiting at mediafire and clicking when i was told. Like i said, the other link at media fire worked just fine. Don’t worry about it, this was just fyi!

This is soo beautiful. I appreciate your sharing it with the rest of us. It was the first time that I read your story and it was touching. I love Christmas but what I love most about it is giving to others, not just loved ones but people we dont really know but we considered to be less “privileged”, or not as blessed as we are. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with people like me who would never be nearly as creative as you are. Sorry for all the babbling in broken English. Greetings from Costa Rica.

Thanks for all the goodies.
I am guessing the element might be a…sleigh????
It will be great whatever it is!

Happy new year to you, Mabelle. The whimsy is just delightful, each and every one. Thank you so very much. As for a fourth element, it could only be the spirit of giving, something you do so very well.
January 3rd, 2008 at 7:40 am
thank you so much for providing another link for Part One – I am 41% downloaded as we speak!!!
I realized I thanked you above for the beauty and creativity of your work, and your generosity in sharing, but I neglected to thank you also for the “forum” of your blog comments in which, after prompting by you, we get to explore our own inspirations and connections with others and within ourselves… thank you SO much for that

I just came across your site and blog earlier this evening, and spent the last few hours reading and enjoying. Lovely site, beautiful words and – well, I don’t even know what to do with your “freebies”, but they sure are gorgeous!

This is so Cute, thank you for sharing!!!
January 5th, 2008 at 1:08 pm
These kits are wonderful. You must have put a lot of efforts and time on the kits. It’s really amazing how you can put this amazing kit as a freebie. You’re one of the few people who would give away great things from their hearts without asking for a penny back.
Thank you so much for sharing with us these wonderful kits. I hope that the New Year will bring you happiness and joy, and may God bless you!
