If you want to see the DottaRiffic pen in actual "action," check out my latest layout and see how great it delivers! Click here.

Its like the Coluzzel - its looks so plain it "promises" nothing special that most people would tend to overlook it when they scrap shop. The first time I saw the Coluzzel, I didnt get to hear any "sirens" go off inside my head. I usually hear them - like a warning signal - when I get to see something that excites me. It was only AFTER Melody Chan of SMILE told me I got to try it for myself that I feel instantly in love with it ON THE FIRST CUT! :)

With the Zig DottaRiffic Pens, it was the same thing, although this time Melody didnt even prod me to go check them out. I did because I got to see some great scrap works in the 'net that ACTUALLY used them and raved about the results in scrapbooking forums. So I did.

The Zig DottaRiffic Pens are so easy to use kindergarten kids will immediately take to them. Creating the dots are a no-brainer and creating various sizes of them is just a matter of adjusting the pressure of you hand - the harder your pen pressure against the paper the bigger the dot you create. Teardrops are a breeze once you get to control your pressure as teardrops are made by pressing your pen on its side (like a brush) with the point tip barely pressed against the paper. Mastering the teardrop will open a whole new way of using your pen.

The pen comes with two points - the bigger rounded point and the smaller one thats perfect for journaling.

Beyond mere dots, the DottaRiffic Pen can create beautiful designs - limitless actually if you let your imagination take charge.

Go grab one or a pack (they come in threes). Head over to SMILE and if you happen to know Melody Chan herself, ask yo have a look at the DottaRiffic idea book. You'll be amazed at what this simple versatile pen can do.
